The transport service before and after rental

We will offer a free transport service between our shop and Saigo port, Oki Airport. Also hotels near from Saigo port are available.

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) *Not insurance

The Collision Damage Waiver is optional coverage (fee:1,000 yen per day) which waives your responsibility for paying deductibles regarding any property damage and/or vehicle damage caused in accidents.

Deductible Prices:

Property damage coverage deductible 30,000 yen
Vehicle damage coverage deductible 50,000 yen

* We may not offer the CDW option for the customers and/or additional driver(s) who have held a driver's license for less than one year.

Non Operation Charge (NOC)

If vehicle damage is found on return of a rental car, regardless of customer negligence or responsibility, the prices below will be charged as compensation for business interruption for the period of repair. These prices are fixed regardless of the amount of damage and time to repair. The Non Operation Charge (NOC) is still required for customers who have completed the Collision Damage Waiver.

Non Operation Charge for Odor

If odors like fish bait or pets are detected at the time of return, the customer will be charged 50,000 yen for Non Operation Charge.
Customers planning to do fishing are recommended to rent the K-car microvan or Mini truck.
Customers bringing pets are required to bring a pet cage or a pet carrier bag.

Payment

Please pay the basic rental fee and one-way fee at the time of rental. We ask customers to pay any excess charges at the time of return. Customers who wish to extend the rental period should contact the office in advance.

Fuel charges

As rental vehicles are rented out with full fuel tanks, please return vehicles with full tanks. If a vehicle is not returned with a full tank of fuel, customers must pay a fuel surcharge based on the distance driven as listed below.

Showing the driver license

Valid driver's license is required when picking up the rental vehicle. Vehicles will not be rented if customers cannot show a valid driver's license.
